Greenfields in Coddington is a delightful residential care home with 16 bedrooms, a number of which have en-suite bathrooms. There are an additional six bathrooms within the home. For people with physical disabilities, there is a ceiling hoist system located in one of the bathrooms.
Kitchen: There are three kitchen areas where we encourage self-cooking as well as supervised cookery sessions for residents. A number of our residents also regularly cook for friends or relatives when they visit.
Living and dining areas: There are three distinct comfortable areas with living and dining spaces – entertainment includes large flat screen TVs, electronic dartboard, music centre, organ and pool table.
Garden: Our garden is in 3.5 acres of secure grounds with wooden swings, BBQ area, outdoor seating areas and a chicken coop. We are currently redeveloping our sensory garden which covers about half an acre of the garden and our residents will assist in its maintenance as part of a horticulture programme.
Staff: We have a great team of qualified people at Greenfields consisting of a Registered Home Manager, Deputy Manager, senior support workers and a further team of full and part-time support staff. Each member of the team is trained to meet the needs of our service users. Everybody is expected to be qualified to or working towards NVQ2 or above.
