Searsons Way is a four bedroom home with two en-suites and a further two bathrooms.
Kitchen: Our fully-equipped spacious kitchen has additional facilities for self-cooking. We welcome service users to prepare their own meals with or without support as needed.
Living and dining areas: The comfortable living spaces are well-furnished, inviting and always well used! These are very sociable areas where people can relax and enjoy their surroundings. Our service users are encouraged to personalise their own bedrooms where they can create more ‘personal space’ away from the communal areas.
Activities room: Located to the rear of the house, an activities room is used for arts & crafts, and as an additional meeting area for staff and residents.
Garden: Our garden has a spacious area with decking and garden seating.
Staff: Searsons Way is managed by a Registered Home Manager, and has two support staff on shift at all times during the day. At nights we have one member of staff on a ‘waking night’ shift, with a ‘sleep-in’ available from our sister house next door (42 Fairkytes Avenue). This backed up by a full on-call system. There are also additional staff that come in at various times during the week to support each individual’s care programme and activities plan.
