Day Services is becoming an increasingly important aspect of the work at Clearwater Care service portfolio. Currently, our principle Day Service facility is operated by our Brightlands care home, located closeby at Hook Meadow Community Centre. Additionally, our next Day Services unit will shortly open at Ash Lea House, located in Alfreton, Derbyshire.
Day Services from Clearwater provide a range of exciting unit-based activities for people with a learning disability. Our staff are highly skilled and have exceptional experience in supporting service users as they try out familiar and new activities. Our services have been developed for adults requiring structured daily activities as well as younger adults (aged 16 upwards) who may be on holiday from their regular attendance at school/college. Importantly, we are able to group activities with like-minded service users, creating dynamic environments where individuals can excel.
Brightlands Day Services is suitable for adults across the full spectrum of learning disabilities, aged 16 to 65. Activities include horse riding, swimming, hydro therapy, IT suite, social outings and much more. Individual and specialist needs catered for. The unit is open daily – Monday to Friday. We operate flexible timings to suit each service user's typical daily diary, with our main services open from 8am to 5pm.
