At the very heart of our care business are our service users. The main objective of Clearwater Care is to ensure they have safe and fulfilling lives whilst in our care. We fully subscribe to promoting independence and personalisation for our service users; as a regulated provider we deliver care in a professional manner ensuring that all those we are in contact with, whether service users, families, and health and care professionals, are treated with respect and dignity.
We are very conscious of the difficulties faced by parents and public services in identifying quality services at competitive costs. Clearwater Care is committed to ensuring that the on-going needs of our service users are always being reviewed. Where appropriate, we will discuss with the individual, their family and commissioners opportunities for people to either move onwards to more independent living or where necessary, the need to increase the care level.
As a quality provider committed to meeting the individual needs of each of our service users we are in discussion with a national advocacy organisation who will support individuals and groups to have their aspirations and goals voiced independently. These will be openly discussed openly at the service user’s regular reviews. We also ensure that each of our service users has an independent financial appointee.
We encourage feedback and involvement of families and care professionals in the lives of our service users. We undertake regular audits of our performance and survey service users, families and involved professionals to help us keep delivering a quality service. Our goal is to deliver service excellence across everything we do. Along with feedback and ongoing audits, we also take into account developments across the profession and the drivers of achieving best value for our commissioners.
If you’d like to see us in action, simply contact us and we’ll take great pleasure in introducing you to Clearwater. We look forward to working with you.
“My son looks so happy – it’s a long time since I’ve seen that look. What does he think himself? He’s not a man of many words, he never has been, but when I put the question to him ‘how are you, how do you feel?’ he answers by telling me – ‘I’ve got a life now Mum, I’m doing stuff with my life’. That’s a big statement from him.”
